Company

Company is a concept musical revolving around Robert (Bobby), a single man unable to commit fully to a steady relationship, let alone marriage.

Synopsis

The plot consists of a series of short vignettes, presented in no particular chronological order, linked by a celebration for Robert’s 35th birthday.

The vignettes are various interactions between Robert and his best friends, who are five married couples, and his three girlfriends.

Unlike traditional musicals that follow a clearly defined story, Company explores the concept of relationships through the lens of Bobby’s experiences, leading him to question his bachelor lifestyle and contemplate the value of companionship and commitment.

The musical is celebrated for its sophisticated music, complex characters, and its portrayal of adult themes and relationships.
